Cable release
The cable release LEICA CR-DC1 allows the LEICA
DIGILUX 2 to be released from a distance of up to
90cm, e.g. to maintain a safety distance or an
emergency escape distance when taking pictures of
animals. For connection, the connecting plug (1.53) is
inserted in the AV OUT/REMOTE socket of the
camera (1.35). The function of the release (1.54)
exactly corresponds to that of the camera release
(1.13, see p. 121). The clip (1.55) can be used to
connect the cable release to a shirt or trouser pocket
so that both hands are free for other tasks. (Order no.
18 626).
Leather case
High-quality case made of black, vegetable leather
with a carrying strap. The camera can be stored in the
camera case with the lens hood attached. Further-
more, it also has two internal compartments, where a
spare battery and memory cards can be stored (Order
no. 18 627).
Batteries
To ensure the power supply when using the camera
for longer periods (e.g. at events, on trips, etc.) we
recommend that you always have a spare battery with
you (Order no. 18 601/18 602/18 603;
Europe/USA/Japan version).
Filters
Especially for the LEICA DIGILUX 2 there are a number
of filters allowing special photographic situations to
be realized. Furthermore, an adapter is available that
allows the use of common E72 filters (in that case
only without lens hood):
