Igniting the fuel
WARNING - risk of burning!
Using petrol or spirits for ignition can
result in uncontrollable heat due to
deagration. You should therefore only
use harmless fuel, such as relighters.
The re pit must be positioned on a stable and
secure surface when it is in use.
- When used as an outdoor replace:
1. Use quality products from LANDMANN,
such as LANDMANN solid relighters.
2. Place one or two solid relighters into the
middle of the base insert (F).
3. Stack the wood (max. 3 kg) into a pyramid over
the solid relighters.
4. Ignite the solid relighters using a long match.
Cleaning / Care
Occasional cleaning is necessary in order to preserve
the beautiful appearance. Do not use any scouring
agents. Never use water to quench the hot re pit.
1. A rinsing cloth and some water with a
commercial detergent is sucient for the
normal cleaning process.
2. If the enamelled parts are heavily soiled,
use a commercial enamel cleaning agent
(oven cleaner). Observe the manufacturer's
instructions for the cleaning agent being
applied.
3. Clean the grill using detergent or rust proof
cleaning pads.
Environmental information & Disposal measures
Pay attention to cleanliness and safety measures
when using the re pit and dispose of any waste in
a clean and safe manner. As a matter of principle,
only dispose of waste in the designated metal or non-
ammable containers.
Warranty
We provide a warranty for the re pit for a period of
two years from the date of purchase. This warranty
covers manufacturing defects and faulty parts as well
as the replacement of these parts. The cost of freight,
assembly, replacement of worn parts, and other such
costs are not covered by this warranty. The warranty
shall expire in the event of incorrect handling and any
kind of unauthorised modication of the re pit.
