DEAD LOCK-SYSTEEM (indien aanwezig)
Dit veiligheidssysteem verhindert de werking van:
❒ de interne handgrepen van de auto;
❒ de drukknoppen A en B voor het ver-/ontgrendelen, op de tunnel-
console bij de handrem.
Hierdoor kunnen de portieren niet van binnenuit worden geopend bij
een inbraakpoging (bijvoorbeeld bij het inslaan van een ruit).
Het biedt dus de best mogelijke bescherming tegen inbraakpogingen.
Daarom raden wij u aan om iedere keer als de u de auto verlaat, het
systeem in te schakelen.
Als het dead lock-systeem is ingeschakeld, kunnen de portieren op geen enkele
wijze van binnenuit worden geopend. Controleer daarom, voordat u de auto ver-
laat, of er geen personen meer aan boord zijn.

ATTENTIE
Als de batterij van de sleutel met afstandsbediening leeg is, kan het systeem
alleen worden ingeschakeld door de metalen baard van de sleutel in het slot van
de portieren te steken zoals op de volgende pagina wordt beschreven.
