BRANDSTOF TANKEN
Benzinemotoren: tank uitsluitend loodvrije benzine met een minimum octaangetal van 95 RON.
JTD-motoren: tank uitsluitend dieselbrandstof voor motorvoertuigen die voldoet aan de Europese specificatie
EN590.
MOTOR STARTEN
Benzinemotoren met mechanische versnellingsbak: controleer of de handrem is aangetrokken; zet de
versnellingspook in vrij; trap het koppelingspedaal volledig in, maar trap het gaspedaal niet in; draai vervolgens
de start-/contactsleutel in stand D en laat de sleutel los zodra de motor aanslaat.
Benzinemotoren met automatische versnellingsbak: controleer of de handrem is aangetrokken; zet de
versnellingspook in stand P of N; draai vervolgens de start-/contactsleutel in stand D zonder het gaspedaal in te
trappen, en laat de sleutel los zodra de motor aanslaat.
JTD-motoren: controleer of de handrem is aangetrokken; zet de versnellingspook in de vrijstand; trap het
koppelingspedaal helemaal in zonder het gaspedaal in te trappen, draai de contactsleutel in stand M en wacht
totdat het lampje
m
gedoofd is; zet de contactsleutel in stand D en laat de sleutel los zodra de motor aanslaat.
PARKEREN BOVEN BRANDBARE MATERIALEN
Omdat tijdens de werking de katalysator zeer warm wordt, verdient het aanbeveling niet te parkeren boven
brandbare materialen (gras, droge bladeren, dennennaalden, enz.): brandgevaar.
