Facial care and deep hydration using
the natural purifying power of steam
INTRODUCTION :
LANAFORM is committed to enabling you to benet from
the latest progress in comfort and body care.
Using the benecial action of steam, the facial sauna deep
cleans the face carefully by removing impurities and blac-
kheads. The skin is left refreshed and hydrated, appearing
younger and more radiant. This appliance is ideal for use at
home and can be used to deep cleanse traces of make-up,
to dilate the skin pores, to aid tanning while preventing
the skin from drying out. The appliance is supplied com-
plete with an inhaler and a metering element.

IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS,
READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USE :
As for any electrical appliance, a few fundamental safety
precautions must be taken before using your Facial Care.
•
Please check that the voltage indicated on the appliance
plate matches the voltage in your home (220-230 volts).
•
This device is designed for brief periods of use. It can
operate without interruption for 20 minutes, after which
it is essential to switch it o and leave the appliance to
cool for at least 15 minutes.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is ope-
rating or plugged in.
• Always keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
• Never use this appliance if the plug or electrical cable
is damaged or is not working properly, or if it has been
dropped, damaged, immersed in water or another liquid.
• As with any other electrical device, you are advised not
to use the Facial Care during a thunderstorm.
• Do not use the appliance close to a bath, sink or other
areas where it could come into contact with water or
damp.
• Never immerse the appliance in water, in your bath or
in the shower.
•
Keep the electrical cable well clear of any heating or
cutting device.
• Unplug before cleaning.
•
Do not use the facial attachment or inhaler on your face
for extended periods or in the same position, as this could
cause burning.
• Consult your doctor before using the Facial Care if you
are suering from a fever, in case of purulence, inam-
mation, pain, if you are taking medicines or anaesthetics,
if the skin has lesions or if you are suering from a facial
infection.
• Do not use the appliance if aerosols are being used or
oxygen administered in the vicinity.
• Do not use the appliance under a cushion or pillow as
this could cause it to overheat, resulting in a re, electric
shock or injury to persons.
• Never carry the appliance by its electrical cable and do
not use the cable as a handle.
•
Before unplugging the appliance ensure that the control
is in the OFF position.
• Only use the Facial Care for the purposes for which it is
designed and as stated in this manual.
• This equipment is not intended to be used by persons
(including children) with reduced mental, sensorial or
physical faculties, nor by persons lacking experience or
comprehension, unless they have received, from persons
responsible for their safety, either supervision or prior ins-
truction concerning the use of the equipment. Children
must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the equipment.
•
If the supply cord is damaged,it must be replaced by
a special cord or assembly available from the Vendor or
its service agent.
