Če voda vsebuje prevelike količine kalcija in magnezija, se lahko v napravi začne nabirati »beli prah«. Če se usedline naberejo na pretvorniku (beli keramični ploščici, ki ustvarja ultrazvočne
valove (slika 1 (3)), naprava ne deluje pravilno.
Vzdrževanje:
Priporočamo, da:
1. vedno uporabljate ohlajeno prevreto vodo,
2. zbiralnik za vodo očistite vsak drugi dan, pretvornik pa vsak teden,
3. zamenjate vodo v zbiralniku vsak drugi dan,
4. očistite napravo in preverite, ali so vsi sestavni deli popolnoma suhi, če naprave ne boste uporabljali.
Čiščenje pretvornika:
1. Napravo ugasnite in izklopite iz omrežja.
2. Na površino pretvornika kapnite od 2 do 5 kapljic kisa in počakajte od 2 do 5 minut.
3. Z mehko krtačko (vatirano palčko) odstranite usedline na pretvorniku. Ne uporabljajte trdih pripomočkov, ki bi lahko opraskali površino. (21)
4. Izperite zbiralnik s čisto vodo.
5. Za čiščenje pretvornika ne uporabljajte mila, topil ali razpršilnih čistilnih sredstev.
Čiščenje zbiralnika za vodo:
1. Napravo ugasnite in izklopite iz omrežja.
2. Zbiralnik očistite z vodo in mehko krpo oziroma z malo močno razredčenega belega kisa, če so v notranjosti apnenčaste usedline ali obloge. Ne uporabljajte korozivnega čistilnega sredstva.
Keramično ploščico nežno obrišite z vatirano palčko in pazite, da je ne opraskate.(22)
3. Zbiralnik izperite s čisto vodo.
Shranjevanje:
Ko ste napravo očistili in osušili, jo shranite na suhem in hladnem mestu zunaj dosega otrok.
