VACUUM PACKAGING MACHINE
YOU ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS
AND WARNINGS HEREIN BEFORE USING THE EQUIPMENT AND
TO KEEP THE BOOKLET IN A SAFE PLACE.
IMPORTANT WARNINGS
Using any electrical appliance entails compliance with a number of
fundamental rules:
Unplug the appliance from the mains straight after use and before
commencing cleaning or inserting/removing accessories.
Do not touch the sealing strip when the device is switched
on, in order to avoid possible burnings.
Do not unplug by tugging on either power cord or appliance.
If an electrical appliance falls into the water, do not attempt to retrieve it;
instead, unplug immediately.
Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Never leave the appliance working unattended, and never allow it to be
used by children, handicapped or disabled individuals.
This appliance may only be used by children aged from 14 years.
• This appliance may only be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or by inexperienced persons if previously
instructed on the use in conditions of safety and only if informed on the
dangers related to the product itself.
Children must not be permitted to play with the appliance. Cleaning
and maintenance may not be performed by children without adult
supervision.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
This appliance must be used solely for the purpose for which it was
designed and in accordance with the operating instructions.
Any other use shall be considered improper and hence hazardous.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting
from improper or incorrect use.
Before using the appliance, make sure it is intact and does not feature
any visible signs of damage. If in any doubt, do not use the appliance
and contact your dealer.
In the event of a fault and/or irregular operation, turn the appliance off
at once without tampering with it.
Always contact your dealer for repairs.
Keep the appliance away from sources of heat.
Make sure to have dry hands when inserting and removing the plug and
when the device is used.
Never use adapters for power supply voltages differing from the rating
data located on the label located on the bottom of the device.
Keep the cable away from hot surfaces.
Attention! Do not handle the electric wire for any reason.
For any damage, please consult your retailer.
The shell of this device is not protected against the penetration of
liquids.
Under extreme conditions of use (voltage being 10% more than the
rated voltage and temperature around 40°C), the intensive use of the
device may require the triggering of automatic devices for thermal
protection. In this case, await until the device cools down, before using
it again.
Do not perform any vacuum packaging cycle for more than
40 times consecutively; besides this limit, the automatic
systems for the thermal protection of the device may trigger.
In this case, await about 20 minutes for the restoration of
these protection systems (We suggest to await at least 2
minutes between one sealing and the following one).
Use only original bags of the manufacturer.
NOMENCLATURE AND FUNCTIONS
1 O/I KEY by pressing this key:
the device creates the vacuum and seals the bags automatically.
the device seals (bag sealing function), in case rolls are used.
air suction is stopped and the bag is sealed automatically.
2 ON/OFF WARNING LIGHT: If the warning light is switched off, it
means that the device is switched off.
If the warning light is not so bright, it means that the device is switched
on (plug connected to the outlet); while if it is bright, it means that the
device is operating.
3 SEALING BAR: It performs the hot sealing.
4 SUCTION CHAMBER: Area in which the open end of the bag is
positioned to allow the air suction.
5 ROLL COMPARTMENT
6 GASKET / SILICONE SEAL: It creates an optimal seal in the suction
chamber in order to create the vacuum in the bags.
7 CUTTER: It is used to cut the roll and obtain a bag of the wished length.
8 COVER: It creates the tightness necessary to create the vacuum in the
bag.
9 SEALING GASKET: It assures the adherence of the bag on the sealing
rod.
10 EXHAUST VALVE: It releases the cover after air suction and bags
sealing.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
After hooking the cover and before pressing the keys for the
sealing and/or vacuum process, it is necessary to press with a
hand slightly on the cover and then with the other hand to select
the wished function. The device starts the operation cycle.
After some seconds, remove the hand from the cover.
USE OF THE BAGS
1) Before each use, clean carefully the device following the instructions
given in paragraph “Cleaning and maintenance”.
2) Place the device on a flat and stiff surface and leave the working area in
front of the device free of hindrances, as well as enough space to allow
the leaning of the bags with the food to be packaged.
3) Connect the device to a power supply outlet corresponding to the rating
data given on the bottom of the device.
Verify that the ON/OFF warning light is lighted (less bright).
4) Verify that the length of the bag is about 8 cm longer than the food to be
preserved.
5) Insert homogenously the food to be preserved in the bag.
6) Lift the cover.
7) Position the open end of the bag within the suction chamber as shown
in figure 2 with the smooth part upward.
Make sure that the inner part of the bag in the point where the sealing
will be performed is both clean and free from any food particles. It has
to be well stretched and without wrinkles.
8) Firmly press with one hand on one of the cover sides and with the other
hand hook the locking lever. Repeat the operation, to hook the lever on
the other side of the cover.
9) Now the cover is closed.
Press the key “O/I” to start the operation cycle and wait; sequentially
and automatically air suction starts; when the device has reached the
maximum vacuum level, the suctions stops and the sealing starts (ON/
OFF warning light on, full brightness).
Now the cycle has been completed; wait for few seconds, slightly lift
one side of the exhaust valve positioned on the cover (caution: Do not
pull the valve too much to prevent it from being removed from the cover
itself) and release the locking levers by pressing firmly on both sides of
the cover (until you hear a “click”).
