De Remmen
Onze fietsen zijn voorzien van twee remhendels (A). Wij adviseren om
beide remhendels te gebruiken wanneer u remt. U kunt de achter- en
voorrem bedienen door respectievelijk de rechter en linker remhendel
in te knijpen.
Uw fiets is uitgerust met schijfremmen. Aan de hand van onderstaande
drie figuren kunt u uw type rem herkennen.

Voor uw veiligheid:
• Let erop dat velgen en remblokken heet kunnen zijn na het gebruiken van velgremmen.
• Let erop dat remschijven, remklauwen en remblokken heet kunnen zijn na het gebruiken van schijfremmen.
De velgen maken hierbij geen deel uit van het remsysteem.
• Velgremmen en schijfremmen dienen goed ingeremd en vetvrij gehouden te worden om piepende
remgeluiden te voorkomen. Daarnaast zorgt het inremmen ervoor dat de remblokken de vorm van de velg
of schijf aannemen waardoor een optimaal remoppervlak ontstaat. De remmen inremmen kunt u doen door
de eerste kilometers met een gelijkmatige remhandeling te remmen.
