JBOD—”JBOD” staat voor “Just a Bunch of Disks”, waarmee bedoeld wordt dat uw twee schijven niet
ingesteld zijn als een array en dus functioneren als twee zelfstandige schijven.
Open LaCie RAID Manager
Beheerders
Gebruikers die een beheerdersaccount gebruiken op hun computer kunnen LaCie RAID Manager opstarten
zonder zich aan te hoeven melden.
Standaard gebruikers
Een standaard LaCie RAID Manager-gebruiker (geen beheerder) wordt gevraagd zich aan te melden met
beheerdersgegevens. Een beheerder moet de toepassing starten teneinde het apparaat voor een
standaardgebruiker voor te bereiden.
Het RAID-niveau aanpassen
Controleer of de Rugged RAID Pro aangesloten is op uw computer en aanstaat om het RAID-niveau aan te
passen. U hebt een dun scherp object zoals het einde van een paperclip nodig om het aanpassen van het
RAID-niveau te bevestigen.
1. Open LaCie RAID Manager.
2. Klik op Array op de zijbalk, en dan op Aanpassen.
3. Kies het RAID-niveau dat u wilt aanmaken en klik op Volgende.
4. Bevestig het aanpassen van de array door op Aanpassen te klikken.
5. Wanneer daarom gevraagd wordt steekt u het puntige eind van de paperclip in het gaatje van de RAID.
Druk zo op het RAID-knopje dat zich daar bevindt. Er verschijnt een bericht dat de array aangepast is.
Apparaat- en app-beheer voor LaCie RAID Manager
Voor andere LaCie RAID Manager-functies raadpleegt u de handleiding voor LaCie RAID Manager voor 2-Bay-
apparaten.
Alle bestanden op de Rugged RAID Pro worden verwijderd als u de array aanpast.
