A: Ja, Sie können die Festplatte an einem USB-Hub anschließen. Wenn es bei der Verwendung eines Hubs
zu Problemen kommt und die Festplatte zum Beispiel nicht erkannt wird, die Datenübertragung
ungewöhnlich langsam ist, die Festplattenverbindung zum Computer sporadisch getrennt wird oder andere
Probleme auftreten, sollten Sie die Festplatte zunächst an einem USB-Anschluss Ihres Computers
anschließen.
Beachten Sie, dass Ihre Festplatte an einem USB-2.0-Hub auch nur mit USB-2.0-Geschwindigkeit betrieben
werden kann.
Problem: Bei der Dateiübertragung werden Fehlermeldungen
angezeigt
F: Wurde beim Kopieren auf ein FAT32-Volume eine „Error -50“-Meldung angezeigt?
A: Beim Kopieren von Dateien oder Ordnern von einem Computer auf ein FAT32-Volume können
bestimmte Zeichen in Datei- und Ordnernamen nicht kopiert werden. Zu diesen Zeichen zählen unter
anderem: ? < > / \ :
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Namen Ihrer Dateien und Ordner keines dieser Zeichen enthalten.
Wenn dieses Problem wiederholt auftritt und Sie keine Dateien mit inkompatiblen Zeichen finden, können
Sie die Festplatte auch mit NTFS (Windows-Benutzer) oder HFS+ (Mac-Benutzer) formatieren. Siehe

F: Wurde eine Fehlermeldung angezeigt, dass die Verbindung zur Festplatte nach dem Aufwachen aus dem
Ruhemodus getrennt wurde?
A: Diese Meldung kann ignoriert werden. Die Festplatte stellt die Verbindung trotzdem wieder her. Wenn
Sie den Computer in den Ruhemodus versetzen, fährt die LaCie-Festplatte ebenfalls herunter, um Energie
zu sparen. Wenn der Computer aus dem Ruhemodus aufwacht, fährt die Festplatte möglicherweise nicht
schnell genug hoch. Daraus resultiert diese Fehlermeldung.
