TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The appliance is made up of a steel chamber completely soldered and hermetic. The hearth is coated by single cast-iron sheets and refractory
plates (NORDIKER).The appliances are equipped with an integrated air circuit for the recovery of the heat made up of a galvanized
steel carter external to the heating body. Inside the hearth there are a grate holder and the related grating, both made of very
thick cast-iron and easily extractable. The appliance works as an intermittent operating appliance.
The insert is equipped with a sight door with ceramic glass (resistant up to 700°C). This allows a charming sight on burning ames. Moreover,
in this way, any possible leak of sparks and smoke is avoided. Under the hearth grating there is a easily extractable ash drawer, also when the
appliance works.
ACCESSORIES POKER GLOVE VENTILATION
SERIES SERIES SERIES
The heating of the room occurs:
a) by convection: the passage of air through the coating and the covering hood releases heat in the room.
b) by radiation: through the sight glass and the steel body, heat is radiated into the room.
c) by forced convection: a ventilation kit suitable to improve the distribution of heat by ventilation only either of the installation room or
of the adjacent local.
The device is equipped with registers of primary and secondary air, with which it is possible to adjust the combustion air.
1A - PRIMARY air register (Picture 8)
With the air register located under the door of the hearth (on the left), it is possible to adjust the air ow through the ash drawer and the
grating in direction of the fuel. The primary air is necessary for the combustion process during the ignition. In order to open the passage of
primary air the lever should be completely pulled.
The ash drawer has to be emptied regularly, so that ash cannot hinder the intake of primary air for the combustion. Primary air is also
necessary to keep re live.
During the combustion of wood, the primary air register must be opened only a few, since otherwise the wood burns quickly and the
device can overheat (see chapter NORMAL OPERATION).
2A - SECONDARY air register (Picture 8)
Under the door of the hearth (on the right) there is the secondary air register.
This register must be opened (and therefore the lever completely pushed), in detail, for the combustion of wood, so that unburnt carbon
can be subject to a post-combustion, increasing the yield and assuring the cleaning of the glass (see chapter NORMAL OPERATION). It is
possible to get the air SECONDARY directly from outside through a exible tube (reproof NOT furnished Picture 11 Ref A).
The adjustment of the registers necessary to reach the rated caloric yield is the following one:

UNIT OPERATION.
This electronic thermocontroller for packaged units manages ventilation air ows.
The unit is switched on or o by pressing and holding the 1 button. During operation
the display shows the set speed alternating with unit status, led 9.
When the unit is o, the display also remains o.
The unit can be controlled MANUALLY or AUTOMATICALLY.
MANUAL mode
To access MANUAL mode, press the 2 button; when the 3 light comes on the function
is active. The 4-5 buttons are used to select one of the ve fan speeds, also active
when the ue is cold.
The motor is started in automatic mode by a mechanical thermostat (the display
shows WAIT), which is activated when the temperature is at least 45°C (xed value,
not modiable). The 6 led indicates that the thermostat contact is closed.
AUTOMATIC mode
To access AUTOMATIC mode, press the 2 button; when the 7 light comes on the function is active. Use the 5 button to set the speed. The 4-5
buttons are used to select one of the ve fan speeds.
In automatic mode the COMFORT temperature can also be selected. Press the 4 button to access the COMFORT temperature setting and
then set the value using 4-5. This setting allows the user to reduce fan noise when the room temperature measured by the probe inside
the controller exceeds the comfort set point; the motor operates one speed lower (this mode has no eect in rst speed) and is signalled
by the 8 led.
LANGUAGE menu.
Pressing and holding the 2 button accesses the LANGUAGE menu, where the display language can be changed using the 4-5 buttons (IT,
EN, DE, FR). Pressing the 2 button briey again accesses the DISPLAY menu, where the brightness can be adjusted (between 10 and 150).
Pressing the 2 button briey another time accesses the DEGREES menu, where the temperature display can be set as °C or °F.
BUZZER menu
Pressing the 2 button briey a nal time accesses the buzzer menu, where audible buzzer can be enabled or disabled.
