7.2. Pull-down menus
The main window contains four pull-down menus displayed
below the title bar.
- The File menu contains functions for managing label files.
- The Edit menu contains all functions relating to label entry
and editing.
- The Tools window gives access to the general configuration
options.
- The Window menu enables you to reorganise the windows.
- The Help menu gives access to the on-line help.
Note: if no label file is open, certain menus are not accessible.
Most of the functions accessible from the menus are described
in detail in the previous chapters. See the sections concerned
for more information about how to use them.
7.2.1. File menu
The File menu in the data entry window includes functions to
save, open and print label files.
- New: used to create a new sheet.
- Open: displays a selection window to load a label file saved
earlier.
- Close: closes the current sheet.
- Save: saves a file which has already been saved.
- Save as: saves a label file, giving it a new name.
