3.6. Actions on columns

Each column is identified by a number marked in the grey box

above the column:

As well as this simple identification, this zone can be used to

select and move columns.

Moving columns

You can modify the position of a column in the file as follows:

• Click on the column identification with the left mouse

button and keep the button pressed.

• Drag the mouse to the desired location, remaining on

the identification zone and without releasing the button.

A grey line shows the location to which the column will

be moved.

• Release the mouse button to move the column.

Selecting columns

You can modify the column selection as follows:

• To select a single column, simply click on the

identification zone with the left mouse button.

• To select a group of consecutive columns, select the

first column in the group normally then hold down the

Shift key and select the last one.
