Fuses
When frequent fuse failures occur , it usually indicates a short
circuit or an overload in the electrical system.
Never use a fuse with a different rating from that speci-
fied. Serious damage to the electrical system or a fire
hazard may result, causing a dangerous loss of lights
or engine power.
To replace a fuse, follow these steps:
1. Slide the ignition fuse 3 out of the holder clips 4.
2. Press a new 7A ignition fuse into the holder clips and close
the holder.
3. Unscrew the cap 5 (counterclockwise) to access the charg-
ing fuse. Replace the 15A charging fuse and screw the
cap back into place.

MAINTENANCE
6. When installing the battery, connect the positive(+) termi-
nal lead first, then the negative (-) terminal lead.
7. Replace the battery cover , body panel and all screws.
NOTE: Always keep the ignition switch OFF when servic-
ing the battery. See your KYMCO dealer for electrical
system diagnosis and repair.
Ignition system fuse: 7A
Charging system fuse: 15A
1. The charge fuse 1 and the ignition fuse 2 are located in-
side the front storage compartment (access with ignition key).
