Tips on Use
• In order to prevent the contents brimming over or overheating, fill the fondue pot up to
the halfway mark at most.
• Place the pot on the burner to heat it up. Fondue pots with a sandwich base (enclosed
base) can be preheated on the stove.
• Put a wooden spoon into the hot fat. If small bubbles form on it immediately, then the
optimum temperature has been reached.
• Only use the fondue set along with the spatter protection device supplied in order to
protect yourself from dangerous fat spatters. We recommend that you carefully dab all
food dry before you put it into the hot fat.
Please Note
The fondue set becomes very hot whilst in use. Therefore, always allow it to cool
down completely first before you clean it; use an oven cloth or oven glove in the event of
it being necessary to grab hold of the fondue set whilst in use.
Cleaning and Care
• Clean the fondue pot as well as the forks in warm washing-up water after each use.
• Stainless steel fondue pots can also be cleaned in the dishwasher. We recommend
cleaning by hand for fondue forks with plastic handles.
• Please do not use any hard objects, steel wool or scouring agents for cleaning purposes.
