Programming peripheral parameters
You will need to set the parameters of some of the peripherals acquired (e.g. keypads, sirens etc.) in order to ensure that
it functions correctly. The following are examples of peripheral programming which requires this.
The peripherals which must be programmed with respective parameters are:
User interfaces
ergo-rev.0, ergo S, ergo M, ergo
Parameters available for the user interface are:
• Description: the name which is given to the peripheral (e.g. input keypad, box keypad etc.)
• Hashtags: please refer to the hashtags section (page 19) of the manual. You are able to associate multiple hashtags.
• Partitions: these are the areas associated with the device. Imagine for instance that a control panel is managing
a semi-detached villa: you will have a keypad/reader for the ground floor apartment and a keypad/reader for the first
floor apartment.
• Serial number: this is the code which identifies the peripheral. Simply update the serial number to acquire the new
peripheral and to keep any previously saved settings if the device is being replaced.
• Date and time display: this enables/disables the date and time display on the keypad.
• Outdoor temperature display: this enables or disables the display on the second line of the temperature display which
has been detected by the “imago” siren.
• Indoor temperature display: this enables/disables the display on the second line of the temperature display which has
been detected by the “radius” siren.
• GSM operator display: this enables/disables the GSM field operator display on the second line of the display (if the
GSM/GPRS communicator has been configured in the system).
• Status entry display: this enables/disables the status entry display for partitions associated with the keypad. You will
be able to view details of the partitions by pressing the ( ) button.
• Zonal status display: this enables/disables the display of open zone details. Press the ( ) button to view
these details.
• Notices with PIN: the system status is not shown on the first line of the keypad when selecting this option (SYSTEM
OK, ALARM, TAMPER, etc.) until a valid PIN has been entered.
• Output sound feedback time: this enables/disables the acoustic signal on the keypad during output time.
• Input sound feedback time: this enables/disables the acoustic signal on the keypad during input time.
• Bell sound check: this enables/disables the acoustic signal on the keypad associated with the zones attributed to the
bell.
• Warning sound check: select this option if you wish to enable the acoustic signal on the keypad during the warning
period (arming mode with time programmer).
• Brightness: in this section you can adjust the keypad brightness level. You can select between three conditions:
low/medium/high. Select the low mode if you wish the keypad backlight to be disabled in standby mode.
• Volume: in this section you can adjust the loudspeaker volume level. You will be able to select between four
conditions: low/medium/normal/high/off.
Expansion modules
auxi, auxi-10, auxi relé/auxi-L, auxi-HT
Parameters available for the user interface are:
• Description: the name which is given to the peripheral (e.g. CED expansion, 1F expansion).
• Serial number: this is the code which identifies the peripheral. Simply update the serial number to acquire the new
peripheral and to keep any previously saved settings if the device is being replaced.
Only the following options are available for the auxi-HT peripheral:
• “i1” for crush prevention: the i1 input can be used to connect to a safety device (e.g. a photocell) if this option
has been enabled and this will cause the termination process to be interrupted and fully reopened if this has been
reactivated while the shutter is being closed.
• Bypass input “t” while moving: the counter mode analysis has been deactivated and will not generate any alarms if
this option has been enabled while the roller shutter is in motion.
