Enabling faults
In this section you will be able to select which faults must be ignored by the control panel should there be any
permanent fault conditions which you do not wish to view (example: a missing Ethernet network). These are all enabled
in the default configuration.
• Fault memory: The control panel displays the successful restoration of a fault by quoting “Fault memory” on the
keypad whenever this option is selected. This memory will be only be deleted after a “Fault status” section check has
been carried out by an authorised user.
Voice messages
• Header: enter the system header in this field (Main Office, 15th avenue, ...).
This message will be generated by voice synthesis, it will identify the system and will be the first to be reproduced
(e.g. header/zone alarm/zone 1)
Users
• Weak PINS: Selecting this option will disable monitoring the strength of the PIN, which the control panel will process
to prevent easily identifiable PINs from being entered (for example dates of birth, etc.)
• Confirm scenario execution: when you select a scenario from the keypad by default (by entering the code, or by
holding down the key associated with the scenario if the entry function without a PIN has been enabled) the system
will process the scenario shown after three seconds if the action has not been confirmed by pressing the enter button.
Select this option if you do not wish to have an automatic extension, i.e. if you wish to confirm your choice each time.
Option enabled
Option disabled
• Mains fault: this signals a power supply failure on the control panel or on the “opis” power supply station.
• Low power supply: this signals that the power supply voltage is low (power supply)
• Battery charger: this is indicated when the power supply fails and there is no required current being supplied to the system.
• Fuse: this signals that one of the fused on the card board has has blown (i.e. a short circuit) or has blown on the “opis”
power supply stations.
• Low battery: this occurs when the (“lares”, “imago”, “radius”, “duo” e “opis”) battery power is low and the wireless
devices have fallen below the operating threshold.
• Faulty battery: this occurs when the control panel, the external/internal sirens and the “opis” power supply station ail
the dynamic battery test. This also occurs when the battery which powers the wireless devices is running low.
• Missing bus peripheral: the fault event will be generated when one or more peripherals are no longer in
communication with the BUS
• Missing wireless peripheral: the fault event will be generated when wireless devices are not communicating with the
control panel once the supervision period has been completed.
• Zone fault: when an approximately balanced detector generates the masking event. This event will also be generated
when the partition assigned to the zone has been switched off and the zone itself is never violated for any programmed
period of inactivity (expressed in minutes. See zonal session).
• No Ethernet connection: this signals that the Ethernet cable has been disconnected from the router/switch. The
connection to the “DNS” or “Cloud” server may still be active (GPRS connection).
• No Internet connection (Eth.): this signals a lack of Internet connectivity despite the Ethernet network being wired
correctly and functioning correctly.
