DESCALING
n
We recommend you descale your appliance once a month.
n
You can use:
- either one descaling sachet
- or one sachet of citric acid (40g), diluted in the glass jug filled to the maximum level mark.
n
Pour the mixture into the tank and start the coffee maker (do not add any coffee).
n
Let the equivalent of half of the tank flow into the glass jug, then turn the coffee maker off for about one
hour.
n
Start the coffee maker again to complete the cycle.
n
Before using again, rinse the product by running fresh water (without coffee) through the machine two or
three times. Do not drink the used water.
Important: do not leave the sachet of descaler within reach of children.
Our guarantee excludes coffee makers not working or not running correctly due to lack of
descaling.
WINDING THE POWER CORD
n The power cord winder located under the appliance allows you to adjust the length of the cord Fig. 10.
IN THE EVENT OF PROBLEMS
n Check:
- the connection,
- make sure that the switch light is on.
n If the water flow time or the noise is excessive:
- Descale your coffee maker.
n Your appliance still does not work? Please contact our Customer Relations Team first for expert
help and advice.
n The appliance is leaking:
- Make sure that the tank has not been filled above the maximum level.
n The filter holder is overflowing or the coffee is coming out too slowly:
- There are too many coffee grounds
- The coffee grounds are too fine and unsuitable for a filter coffee maker
- The glass jug has not been correctly placed on the hot plate
- The glass jug was removed for too long during the preparation cycle or has not been correctly placed
back on the hot plate
- The paper filter is not fully open or has not been correctly fitted.
