Suggerimenti
- La qualità dell'acqua inuisce molto sulla qualità degli aromi. Calcare e cloro possono alterare il sapore del
caffè. Si raccomanda di utilizzare la cartuccia Claris Aqua Filter System o acqua oligominerale per preservare
tutti gli aromi del caffè.
- Per la preparazione di bevande, si consiglia di utilizzare tazzine preriscaldate (passandole sotto l'acqua calda
ad esempio) e di dimensioni adatte alla quantità desiderata.
- I chicchi di caffè torrefatti possono perdere l'aroma se non protetti. Si consiglia di utilizzare una quantità di
chicchi equivalente al consumo dei 2-3 giorni successivi e di preferire le confezioni da 250 g.
- La qualità del caffè in chicchi è variabile e viene apprezzata in modo diverso a seconda delle proprie
preferenza. L'arabica consente di preparare una bevanda dagli aromi delicati e oriti, mentre la robusta è più
ricca di caffeina, più amara e più forte. Questi due tipi di caffè vengono spesso miscelati insieme per ottenere
un caffè più equilibrato. Non esitare a chiedere consiglio alla propria torrefazione.
- Si sconsiglia l'uso di chicchi di caffè oleosi e caramellati perché possono danneggiare la macchina.
- La nezza di macinatura dei chicchi inuisce sull'intensità degli aromi e sulla qualità della crema. Più la
macinatura è ne, più la crema sarà vellutata. La macinatura può quindi essere regolata in base alla bevanda
desiderata.
- È possibile utilizzare latte pastorizzato, UHT, scremato, parzialmente scremato o intero, conservato in
frigorifero (3-5°C) per un migliore risultato.
- L'utilizzo di particolari tipi di latte (microltrato, crudo, fermentato, arricchito...) o di latte vegetale (latte di riso,
d'avena, di mandorla, ecc.) può dare risultati meno soddisfacenti, in particolare in termini di qualità e quantità
di schiuma.
