Oorzaak () Controleer of er een Firewall of router tussen de Mxstream
Multi-PC modem en uw pc is geïnstalleerd of dat er een
software-Firewall op uw pc actief is.
Oplossing Verwijder eventueel de Firewall of router of schakel de
software-Firewall (tijdelijk) uit.
Oorzaak () Controleer of u een geïnstalleerde ethernetkaart met
TCP/IP hebt in uw pc.
Oplossing Installeer een ethernetkaart met het TCP/IP protocol.
➤ U kunt op Back klikken om de Setup Wizard de Mxstream Multi-PC
modem opnieuw te laten detecteren.

➤ De Setup Wizard zal na verloop van tijd de Mxstream Multi-PC
modem hebben gedetecteerd (zie Afbeelding ). Wanneer de
Mxstream Multi-PC modem is gedetecteerd, kunt u verder gaan met
de volgende paragraaf.

De Mxstream Multi-PC modem is gedetecteerd zie vorige paragraaf.
. Klik op Next.
➤ U komt in het scherm Alcatel Speed Touch Setup Wizard (zie Afbeelding ).


➤ De Setup Wizard zal proberen de Mxstream Multi-PC modem op het
netwerk te detecteren (zie Afbeelding ).
Opmerking
Indien de Setup Wizard de Mxstream Multi-PC modem niet detecteert,
moet u een aantal punten controleren:
Oorzaak () Controleer of het controlelampje pc-aansluiting aan de
achterkant van de modem brandt. Als het controlelampje
niet brandt, kan het zijn dat de modem is uitgeschakeld.
Oplossing Schakel de Mxstream Multi-PC modem in met de schake-
laar aan de achterkant van de modem. De modem is
ingeschakeld als de schakelaar op - staat.
Oorzaak () Controleer of het controlelampje pc-aansluiting aan de
achterkant van de modem brandt. Als het controlelampje
niet brandt, kan het zijn dat uw ethernetkaart is ingesteld
op Base-T. Voor gebruik in combinatie met de
Mxstream Multi-PC modem moet uw ethernetkaart in
gesteld zijn op Base-T.
Oplossing Stel uw ethernetkaart handmatig in op Base-T en Half
Duplex. Raadpleeg hiervoor de gebruiksaanwijzing van uw
ethernetkaart.
