De mogelijkheid tijdens een gesprek overleg te plegen met iemand anders via een tweede

gesprek, zonder dat de eerste gesprekspartner dit kan horen.

S-bus

De S-bus is het geheel van ISDN-bekabeling en ISDN-wandcontactdozen in een huis of kantoor

voor een ISDN-aansluiting. Alle ISDN-aansluitpunten kunnen in serie worden aangesloten, dat

wil zeggen dat ze onderling met kabels worden verbonden. Er kunnen maximaal 8 apparaten op

een ISDN-kabel worden aangesloten.

Toestelaansluitsnoer

Snoer voor het aansluiten van het toestel.

Toonkiezen

Als een toestel kiest via tonen, zijn toontjes hoorbaar als de toetsen worden ingedrukt.

Wachtstandtoets

Toets waarmee u een gesprek in de wachtstand kunt zetten. U kunt dan overleggen met iemand

anders zonder dat de gesprekspartner aan de telefoon mee kan luisteren. Bij opnieuw indrukken

van de toets wordt de verbinding weer hersteld. Op de meeste telefoontoestellen is dit de flash-

toets of het haakcontact.

Wandcontactdoos

Aansluitdoosje waarop PC, ISDN-telefoon en fax aangesloten kan worden.

WisselGesprek

Terwijl een gesprek wordt gevoerd, wordt een tweede gesprek aangekondigd. Door op de flash-

toets of op het haakcontact van de telefoon te drukken, kan het tweede gesprek worden aange-

nomen. Daarna kan worden gewisseld tussen twee gesprekken tegelijk.
