32 Klik op Instellen.
> De ‘Microsoft TCP/IP Configuration’-dialoogbox verschijnt.
33 Vul in bij IP-address 1.1.1.1.
34 Vul in bij Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0.
Hoewel DHCP niet geselecteerd wordt, moet er wel een
verzonnen IP-adres ingevuld worden. Laat de overige
parameters, zoals Default Gateway, Primary WINS Server en
Secundary WINS Server, leeg.
35 Klik op OK.
36 Selecteer Microsoft TCP/IP-32 3.11b.
37 Klik op Als standaard protocol instellen.
38 Klik op Sluiten’ in de ‘Netwerk stuurprogramma’s’-dialoogbox.
39 Klik op OK in de ‘Netwerk installatie’-dialoogbox.
Als u voor de eerste keer Microsoft Netwerk installeert, moeten
de parameters voor Microsoft Windows Netwerknamen ingevuld
worden. Deze zijn niet relevant voor Internet, maar dienen wel
ingevuld te worden. U kunt zelf iets invullen of de standaard-
opties laten staan.
40 Klik op OK.
> Enkele bestanden worden op uw harde schijf geïnstalleerd.
41 Klik op OK om de veranderingen en backup van SYSTEM.INI
en PROTOCOL.INI te bevestigen.
42 Klik op Restart computer.
Let op!
Na installatie van de software ziet u dat bij het opstarten van uw
pc vier nieuwe drivers geladen worden.
– DIVA direct enabler
– ShivaRemote dial-in driver
– ShivaRemote dial-in virtual device driver v4.5.1
– ShivaRemote CAPI port driver (VxD) v4.5.1
Daarnaast is in uw autoexec.bat bestand de regel ‘c:\windows\net
start’ toegevoegd.
De installatie van de benodigde drivers voor toegang tot Internet
is gereed. Hoe u een verbinding maakt met Internet is beschreven
in hoofdstuk 7.
