Werking ExperiaBox bij het upraden van nieuwe software
• Tijdens het upgraden van nieuwe software licht het ‘Power’ lampje blauw op als teken dat er
nieuwe software in de Experia Box wordt geladen. Deze software zorgt ervoor dat jouw diensten
goed blijven werken met jouw apparaten.
• Na het upgraden van nieuwe software zal de Experia Box zichzelf opnieuw opstarten.
De Experia Box gaat in zijn geheel uit en start zich in enkele minuten weer op.
Als de lampjes ‘Power’, ‘ Internet’, ‘ Wireless’ en ‘Services’ groen branden, is de Experia Box gereed
voor gebruik. Het klopt dat het lampje ‘Internet’ onregelmatig knippert.
Bediening van de knoppen op de ExperiaBox
De Experia Box heeft aan de zijkant drie knoppen (zie figuur 10). Met deze knoppen kun je de
volgende functies in- en uitschakelen. Hieronder volgt een korte beschrijving:
De WPS functie van de Experia Box
Deze Experia Box ondersteunt het gebruik van WPS [
]. WPS staat voor Wireless Protect Setup.
Hiermee kun je elk apparaat afzonderlijk draadloos verbinden met de Experia Box. KPN adviseert
vooralsnog jouw apparaten aan te sluiten zoals beschreven in de handleiding Internet.
Wil je toch gebruik maken van WPS, activeer dan de WPS functie op de Experia Box:
• Druk hiervoor 2 tot seconden op de WPS knop [
], totdat het lampje ‘Wireless’ aan de
voorkant van de Experia Box gaat knipperen.
• Vanaf nu heb je 2 minuten de tijd om een ander apparaat aan te sluiten.
• Het aan te sluiten apparaat dient eveneens WPS te ondersteunen. In de handleiding van het
betreffende apparaat kun je lezen hoe je WPS activeert.

  • My Experia v10 router is setup for 5 ghz. I have purchased a wireless thermostat for the central heating, which uses 2.4 ghz.
