Special Safety Instructions
To avoid the possibility of injury/damage to the appliance,
electric shock, fire and risk of burns!
• Only use the appliance for its intended purpose and as
described in this manual.
• Place the appliance on a table or an even and heat-resistant
surface. We recommend to use a heat resistant support in
order to protect the table from grease splatters.
• Do not place it on top of a metal surface.
• Attention: The temperature of accessible surfaces may
be high during operation. Therefore, do not touch the
appliance during and/or immediately after operation. Only
use the resp. handles. Danger of serious burns!
• When preparing foods, always use the provided wooden
spatula or a heat resistant plastic spatula . Never use any
sharp or metal objects (e.g. knife, metal spatula, etc.) as
they would damage the non-stick coating of the grill plate
and the raclette pans.
Attention: If you use a big amount of cold resp. frozen
meat on the grill plate it could occur that the grill plate
might momentarily deform. After a few seconds, the grill
plate will return to its original form. This is no default,
but triggered by the big difference in temperature.
