To avoid possible burns and risk of ﬁre

• Thetemperatureofaccessiblesurfacesmaybehighduring

operation. Therefore, do nottouchtheapplianceduringand/

or immediately after operation. Only use the resp. handle.

• Donot move the appliance during operation.

• Adheretoasafetydistancearoundtheappliance.

• Do not use the appliance close to or under inﬂammable

objects,e.g.tablecloth,curtains,wallcabinets.

• Makesure,thatduringuse,neitherthepowercordnorany

otherobjectslieacrossthehotplate.

• Oilandfatcontentmighteasilyigniteandcatchre.Never

pour water into the heated fat or oil in the fondue pot! This

would cause a darting ﬂame and possibly a ﬁre which could

also ignite furniture and curtains etc. Additionally, you may

be bodily harmed.

To extinguish burning fats and oils, immediately remove the

power plug from the wall socket and smother the ﬂames by

placing a lid or a ﬁre blanket over the fondue pot.

• Only use the included fondue forks or metal utensils with an

insulated handle.

• Nevertouchthemetalpartsoftheforks,astheybecome

burning hot in hot oil.

• Alwaysunplugtheapplianceafteruse.

• Always unplug the appliance after use and let it completely

cool down before cleaning.
