Note: Never open the appliance lid (1) during operation – hot
water could evaporate – Danger of serious burns!
If you wish to prepare more than one pot of coffee, the appliance
has to be switched off for approx. 5 minutes, in order to cool
down.
Always disconnect the appliance from the mains if you are
not using it!
Using the permanent filter
When using the permanent filter, do not insert a paper filter!
Instead of inserting a paper filter into the filter holder (5) you can
insert the permanent filter (6) into the filter holder (5). Add your
grounded coffee and follow steps 5 – 8.
After use, remove the grounded coffee and clean the permanent
filter (6) as described under Cleaning and Care.
Thermo jug / brewing through lid
The thermo jug (7) accumulates heat energy. Therefore, the jug
should preferably be filled to its max. capacity.
Tip: Before starting the brewing process, rinse your thermo
jug (7) with hot tap water. To obtain tasteful coffee, brew at
least half a jug otherwise the temperature will not be held as
efficiently.
The brewing through lid does not close hermetically. Therefore,
always hold the thermo jug (7) upright when filled with coffee.
When serving coffee, simply press down and hold the lever
button of the lid and the coffee will be pouring out from the
spout.
