Setting the timbre parameters

Use the knobs and switches on the front panel to set the timbre parameters.
Adjustthevolume balance between the main timbre and the sub-timbre using
the MAIN/SUB BALANCE knob.Fordetails,referto“MAIN/SUBBALANCE

Use the TYPE switch to set the timbre performance type (layer, crossfade or
split).Fordetails,referto“TYPEswitch(prologue-16only)”(p.22).
Setthetimbrepositionandsplitpoint(whenplayinginsplitmode)in“Timbre,”
PROGRAMEDITmode.Referto“Button3(TIMBRE)”(p.46)fordetails.
Set the timbre to edit using the PANEL switch.
TIP
Editing a timbre applies to the basic parameters on the front panel, as well
asalldetailedparametersinPROGRAMEDITmode.

Press the EDIT MODE buon.
The instrument will enter Edit mode.

Turn the PROGRAM/VALUE knob or press the EDIT MODE buon, and se-
lect PROGRAM EDIT.

Press buon 3 several times.
Each parameter related to the timbre is shown on the display.

Turn the PROGRAM/VALUE knob to change the seings.
5.
Press the EXIT buon.
