10. STYLE RECORD MODE
ByenteringtheStyleRecordmode,youcancreateyour
ownStyles,oreditan existingStyle.
THE STYLE’S STRUCTURE
The term “Style” relates with music sequences auto
matically played by the arranger of the microAR
RANGER. A Style consists of a pre
defined number of
StyleElements(E)(microARRANGERfeat
urestendif
ferentStyleElements:Variation1–4,Intro1–2,Fill1–2
,
Ending 1–2). When playing, these Style Elements can
be selected directly from the control panel, using the
correspondingbuttons.

EachStyleElementismadeupofsmallerunits
,called
Chord Variatio ns (CV), but not all of them have the
samenumberofCVs.Variations1–4haveupto6CVs
each,whiletheotherStyleElementshaveonlyupto2
CVs.
Whenyo
u play onthechord recognition area(Lower,
Upperor
Full, depending on the ChordScanningsec
tiononthecont rol panel), the arranger
scans the key
board and determines which chord you are playing.
Then, dependi
ng on the selected Style Element, it
determines which Chord Variation (CV) should be
playedfor the scanned chord. Which Chord Variation
corresponds to each scanned chord is a setting of the
Style: the Chord Variation Table. Each Style Element
contains a Chor
d Variati
on Table, whose prototype is

ding what CV to play, the arranger trig

is written in a particular key (for example, CMajor,

to the scanned chord. Notes in the sequence are care

nizedchords.TheNTTallowsyoutorecordjustsome
Chord Variations, and hav
e all the notes play in the
right place, avoiding dissonances and transposingthe
