6.3 Faxfuncties gebruiken
6.3.1 Faxfuncties
De fax is een communicatiefunctie die een telefoonlijn gebruikt voor het verzenden van gescande originelen
(papier) of voor het ontvangen van gegevens die zijn verzonden vanaf externe machines. Deze machine heeft
verschillende functies voor faxbewerkingen, inclusief functies waarmee de gebruiker de scaninstellingen kan
wijzigen volgens het origineel en binnenkomende faxen in een geheugen kan opslaan.
Hieronder vindt u een beschrijving van de voorzorgsmaatregelen die u moet treffen wanneer u faxfuncties
gebruikt.
- Om de faxfunctie te kunnen gebruiken, hebt u de Faxkit en de Inbouwset nodig.
- Deze machine kan worden aangesloten op de volgende types telefoonlijnen.
- Openbaar telefoonnet (inclusief faxcommunicatielijn)
- PBX (eigen telefooncentrales, 2 lijnen)
- De faxgegevens kunnen niet in kleur worden verzonden of ontvangen.
- U kunt geen bedrijfstelefoon aansluiten als een externe telefoon.
- De functie wachtstand kan niet tegelijk worden gebruikt.
- Als een digitale specifieke lijn met multiplexfunctionaliteit wordt gebruikt voor een bedrijfsnetwerk, kan
de snelheid van de faxverzending worden beperkt of zal de Super G3-fax mogelijk niet beschikbaar zijn.
- In uitzonderlijke gevallen kunnen er communicatiefouten optreden vanwege de standaard
fabrieksinstellingen. Dit is omdat het multiplexapparaat de frequentieband van de lijn beperkt op basis
van de uiterste limiet in de veronderstelling dat de lijn bedoeld is voor spraakcommunicatie. Deze
beperkingen verschillen ook afhankelijk van de apparaten die op het netwerk zijn aangesloten. Neem
contact op met uw netwerkbeheerder voor meer informatie.
