Safety instructions

• This product is not intended for
commercial use. It is designed for
household use only.
• Read this user guide carefully before
first use. It contains important safety
information as well as instructions for
the use and care of the device. Save the
guide for later reference and include it
with the device when transferring it to a
third party.
• To avoid dangerous situations, do not
use the product for any purpose other
than those described in the instructions.
Improper use is dangerous and voids the
warranty.
• Risk of injury! Do not use this product
if it is damaged or has fallen on the floor.
• Caution! There is danger of explosion
from improper replacement of the
battery. Replace the battery only with
the same or equivalent type of battery.
• Always exchange the entire set of
batteries.
• Make sure the battery is correctly
inserted. Observe the polarity (+) plus
/ (-) negative on the battery and the
housing. Improperly inserted batteries
can lead to leakage or, in extreme cases,
a fire or an explosion.
• The connections must not be short-
circuited.
• Never expose batteries to excessive
heat (e.g. bright sun, fire), and never
throw them into fire. The batteries could
explode.
• Remove used batteries. Remove the
battery if you know that the product will
not be used for a longer period of time.
Otherwise, the battery could leak and
cause damage.
• Keep batteries out of reach of small
children. If batteries have been
swallowed, seek immediate medical
attention.
• Non-rechargeable batteries must not be
recharged.
• If the batteries leak, remove them with
a cloth and dispose of them accordingly.
Prevent battery fluid from coming into
contact with skin and eyes. If you do
get battery fluid in your eyes, flush
them thoroughly with lots of water
and consult a physician immediately. If
battery fluid comes into contact with
your skin, wash the aected area with
lots of water and soap.
• Warning! Keep out of reach of
children. Swallowing can lead to
chemical burns, perforation of soft
tissue and death. Severe burns can
occur within 2 hours of ingestion. Seek
medical attention immediately.
• Warning! Do not ingest the battery,
Chemical Burn Hazard.
• This product contains a coin/button cell
battery. If the coin/button cell battery is
swallowed, it can cause severe internal
burns in just 2 hours and can lead to
death.
• Keep new and used batteries away from
children.
• If you think batteries might have been
swallowed or placed inside any part
of the body, seek immediate medical
attention.
• If the battery compartment does not
close securely, stop using the product
and keep it away from children.
