Ingredients:
1 small onion
50 g mushrooms
100 g peas
2 medium-size carrots
1 tbsp. butter or oil
125 g brown rice
250 mL vegetable broth
4 tbsp. of grated cheese
1 bunch of parsley
Tableware:
Preparation:
1. Peel the onions and finely dice them. Dress the
mushrooms and cut them into thin slices. Remove the peas
from the pods, dress and dice the carrots.
2. Steam the onions, mushrooms, peas, and carrots slightly
in butter.
} Microwave oven max. setting, 2 to 3 min
3. Stir in the rice, bring to a boil while covered, and then let
it swell.
} Microwave oven max. setting, 5 to 6 min +
} Microwave oven low setting, 10 to 15 min
4. Stir in the cheese and the chopped parsley after cooking.
} Tip: Only add precooked vegetables, for example from
a tin, near the end of the cooking time. Yellow, red, and
green paprika can also be added as desired.

75 g bulgur or
Couscous
(coarsely ground semolina)
1 small onion
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 pinch of marjoram
A pinch of herb salt
150 mL vegetable broth

} 1. Peel the onions, finely dice them, and heat them
together with the vegetable broth.
} Microwave oven max. setting, 2 to 3 min
2. Add the bulgur or couscous, the spices, and the oil and let
them swell while covered.
} Microwave oven medium setting, 2 to 3 min
