To$change$the$way$your$Kobo$Arc$screen$locks:$

1. Tap$the$ $Home$icon$at$the$bottom$of$the$screen.$

2. Put$your$finger$at$the$top$of$the$screen$and$swipe$about$half$way$

down$the$screen.$

The$notification$shade$will$appear.

3. Tap$the$ $Settings$icon.$

4. Tap$Settings.$$

5. Tap$Security.$

6. Tap$Screen%lock.$

7. If$prompted,$enter$your$curre nt$pa ttern,$PIN ,$or$passw ord .$ $

8. Tap$the$screen$lock$you$wish$to$use.$

9. For$a$secure$screen$lock,$such$as$a$PIN$or$password:$

a. Enter$the$required$details$for$the$secure$screen$lock.$

b. Tap$OK.$

10. For$a$lock$without$security:$$

a. Tap$None$or$Slide.$

To$unlock$your$screen$when$you’re$using$a$secure$lock:$

• PIN:$Enter$your$personal$iden tific a tio n $n u mber$(PIN).$
