Notes on cleaning and maintenance
WARNING
Risk of electric shock! Do not touch the mains plug with wet or damp
hands.
• Switch off the appliance and remove the mains plug from the socket.
• Always pull the mains plug by the plug and not by the cable from the socket.
Visual inspection of the inside of the appliance
1. Remove the air lter.
2. Use a torch to illuminate the openings of the appliance.
3. Check the inside of the appliance for dirt.
4. Replace the air lter.
Cleaning the housing
Clean the appliance with a soft, damp and lint-free cloth. Make sure that no moisture
enters the housing. Protect electrical components from moisture. Do not use aggressive
cleaning agents such as cleaning sprays, solvents, alcohol-based or abrasive cleaners.
Cleaning the air outlet
You can remove the dust with a vaccum cleaner.
Cleaning the water tank
Note: Switch off the appliance and remove the mains plug from the socket before
cleaning the water tank.
1. Remove the air lter.
2. Remove the honeycomb lter.
3. Remove the water plug and drain the water into a bowl or sink.
4. Open the water tank cover and clean the water tank with a damp cloth. For heavy
soiling, you can use a brush with soft bristles.
Cleaning the air lter
Note: If the lter screen is not cleaned for a long time, it may cause bad conditions
such as lower air ow and increased noise. Clean the air lter once a month.
• Remove the air lter from the rear housing, then immerse the honeycomb lter and
the lter frame together in water for a few times and then allow the lter to air dry.
