• Non conservare frutta e verdura secca per più di 1 anno.

Luogo di conservazione
La conservazione al buio e in un luogo asciutto e fresco, garantisce la buona qualità
dei prodotti essiccati. Se posti su scaffali nelle vicinanze di nestre, i contenitori devono
essere coperti da un panno, in modo da essere al riparo dalla luce. Contenitori di
plastica trasparenti devono essere rivestiti o messi in scaffali chiusi. Per evitare fenomeni
di condensa, si consiglia di non porre i contenitori direttamente su pavimenti o a
contatto con pareti di cemento che normalmente sono freddi e umidi. Non conservare
gli alimenti essiccati nelle vicinanze di oggetti o materiali che emanano odori forti (per
esempio vernici, colori o cherosene).
Tempi di conservazione
Si consiglia di conservare la frutta e la verdura essiccata per non più di un anno e di
consumare la carne essiccata in 1-2 mesi. Etichettare gli alimenti in base alla data
di essicazione per regolarsi su quando consumarli. Controllare regolarmente gli
alimenti per vericare il loro livello di umidità; in caso risulti eccessiva, procedere con
una ulteriore essicazione. La presenza di muffe indica che l’essiccazione non è stata
condotta correttamente.
