START-UP AND OPERATION

Digital display

• The left side of the deviding line shows the set time. A maximum of

9minutes and 59seconds can be set.

• The right side next to the deviding line shows the weight. The appliance

may be lled with a maximum of 999grams of coffee powder. If the weight

of the coffee powder exceeds 999grams, the screen displays “ERR“.

Operation

• The button (1) can be used to start or stop the timer. Long press this

button will reset the timer to “0‘00“.

• The button (2) can be used to switch the unit on and off and to reset the

electronic scale. Press and hold this button to reset the electronic scale.

First time power up

• Insert three AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment.

The digital screen lights up briey and then switches to standby mode.

Making coffee

1 In standby mode, place the coffee lter in the ceramic funnel and ll it with

coffee powder.

2 The electronic scale shows the weight of the coffee powder.

3 Press and hold the button (2) to reset the scale.

4 To start the timer, press button (1) while pouring the desired amount of

water into the water container.

5 After adding water, the coffee slowly drips from the ceramic funnel into

the glass carafe.

6 Short press the button (1) to stop the timer. Press and hold the button to

reset the timer.

7 If no button is pressed for three minutes, the appliance automatically

switches to standby mode.
