BEFORE FIRST USE

• Remove the unit from its packaging and check that all parts are complete and

undamaged.

• Clean all removable parts and dry them thoroughly.

• Fill the tank with water and run 2-3 cups without espresso powder to remove dust

and any residue.

Filling the water tank

1. Open the tank cover and remove the tank by pulling it upwards out of the unit.

2. Fill the tank with fresh water. Make sure that the water level is not higher than the

MAX mark in the tank. Replace the tank, pushing it slightly downwards to open the

valve at the bottom of the tank.

3. The tank can also be lled without removing it. Fill the water directly into the tank.

Note: It is normal for there to be some water in the space below the tank. This should

be removed regularly with a clean sponge.
