8. To vacuum large amounts of liquid (e.g. from a basin, tank, etc.), do not

immerse the nozzle completely in the liquid. Leave a gap at the top of the

nozzle to allow airow. The device is equipped with a oat valve that blocks the

suction when the container has reached its maximum capacity. You will notice

a higher level of engine noise. If this happens, turn o the power, disconnect

the power plug, remove the top assembly from the container, and pour the

liquid into a suitable container or drain. To continue vacuuming, replace the

top assembly and continue. After wet vacuuming, switch the device o again

and pull out the power plug. Empty, clean and dry the inside and outside of

the container before putting the device out of service.

Carpet cleaning

Water with a suitable carpet cleaner is pumped deep into the bres of the carpet

with the shampoo nozzle. The cleaning uid that has loosened and absorbed the

dirt is then pumped back into the waste water tank. You can pump the liquid up to

2 metres above the vacuum so that you can work on the steps as well.
