10. Mounting the hood

Edges and internal components can be

sharp-edged and cause injuries.

Exercise appropriate caution and pro-

tect yourself if necessary, e.g. with work

gloves.

• First perform a function test

by plugging in the appliance and

switching it on.

• Position the suspension plate on the

ceiling, if necessary with the round

hole on the exhaust opening (for

exhaust air operation) and mark the

position of the screw holes.

• Securely fasten the suspension plate

to the ceiling.

The procedure depends on the type

of ceiling:

Reinforced concrete ceiling:

Drill holes at the marked locations

according to the bolt diameter,

carefully tap the expansion bolts into

the drill holes with a hammer

and screw them tight.

Other stone ceiling:

Drill the marked locations according

to the dowels, insert the dowels into

the drill holes and tighten the plate

with the ST4 screws (30mm).

Wooden ceiling:

Tighten the plate with the ST4 screws

(30mm).
