Using the timer function
4.2 Setting the 30 minutes timer
with automatic switch-o of the hob
When this timer function is activated,
the hob will automatically switche to pause (standby)
mode aer 30 minutes.
It serves as a safety feature or a memory aid.
• To activate the 30 minute timer, press the timer key
without having selected any cooking zone before.
The timer display starts ashing and shows "30".
The timer is activated.
• Aer 30 minutes, the hob automatically switches to
pause mode. All cooking zones are then in standby mode;
the power indicator ashes.
• To continue operation, press the selection key for the
desired cooking zone.
The 30-minute countdown then starts again.
• To stop the 30 minute timer, press the timer key again
without having selected any cooking zone before.
When activating the timer for several cooking zones
• If the timer is activated for several cooking zones,
the timer display always shows the lowest remaining time.
A ashing red dot next to the corresponding power
display indicates the cooking zone to which the display
refers (Example see illustration).
To display the remaining time of the timer
of another cooking zone,
touch the corresponding selection key.
• Aer the shortest set time has elapsed,
the corresponding cooking zone switches o
,
the display changes to the next lowest remaining time
and the dot of the corresponding zone ashes.
• When the last remaining time set expires nally,
this cooking zone is also switched o.
