Fitting and Installation
There may also be an indirect air flow from neighbouring rooms,
as long as these rooms are directly ventilated, there is no fire
hazard and they are not bedrooms.
The air flow between the adjacent room and the installation room
must be free, if necessary, through permanent openings.
(This can be achieved by increasing the gap between the door and
the floor).
Further instructions and requirements for installation
Before installation, make sure that the local distribution con-
ditions (type of gas and gas pressure) are compatible with the
appliance characteristics. The characteristics of this appliance
are indicated on the rating plate.
For installation, all dimensional specifications and distance regula-
tions in this manual, as well as other applicable regulations, must
be observed and complied with.
Make sure that the worktop intended for installing the hob meets
all the necessary requirements (described in the following section)
and that nothing protrudes into the cooking area.
The materials of adjacent and surrounding surfaces, as well as
adhesives used, must be fireproof / heat resistant up to 100°C
to exclude deformation of surfaces or detachment of coatings.
If you are not sure about this, plan at least 200 mm distance
between the edges of the appliance and materials in question
or protect them with a layer of fireproof material.
Use easy-to-clean surfaces made of fireproof material (e.g. ceramic
tiles) as wall surfaces around the cooking area.
Always keep a minimum distance of 500 mm between the edges of
the hob and combustible materials, such as furniture or curtains.
Side furniture walls or other boundaries above the hob may only be
located on one side of the hob at a distance of at least 100 mm.
The safety distance from the hob to an extractor bonnet
or wall units directly above the hob must be at least 760 mm
or 650 mm to other wall units, shelves etc. .
