Your new appliance
Setting the clock
When the appliance is connected, a beep is heard
and the time display „00:00“ ashes.
Touch the or key to set the current time (between
00:00 and 23:59; briey touching the or keys chan-
ges the set time in 1 min steps, long touching speeds
up the setting in 10 min steps).
Complete the setting with the key
or wait until the display stops ashing.
The time is now set.
Note:
If you want to change the time setting at a later time,
touch the key for a few seconds.
The time display starts ashing.
Use the and and keys to reset the time while the
display is still ashing
(Long touching speeds up the setting).

Before using the appliance for the rst time
Initial cleaning and heating
Remove all packaging and transport protection materials
from the appliance, especially the protective lm on the
front of the appliance.
For more information see the section „Cleaning“.
Before the rst use of the appliance,
Remove all accessories out of the microwave and clean
them.
Before the appliance is used to heat and cook food,
the typical odours that arise during the rst use should
be removed.
To do this, rst heat the empty cavity, as follows:
Before heating, wipe the appliance interior with a damp
cloth to remove dust or packaging residues.
Touch the key repeatedly until the icon appears
on the display together with the display for hot air.
The corresponding preset cooking temperature and
cooking time are displayed at the same time.
Set the cooking temperature to maximum and the coo-
king time to min. 1 h as described in the corresponding
chapter.
Start operation with the key.
When you do this, make sure that the room is well ven-
tilated. Close the doors to the other rooms to avoid the
smell moving through the house.
When the cooking process is nished, let the appliance
cool down to room temperature.
Then clean the cooking chamber with a solution of
neutral detergent and hot water and dry with a clean,
soft cloth.
Do not close the door until the interior is completely dry.
