4.4 Automatic cooking with core temperature sensor

To set a target core temperature of the food to be cooked,

so that the cooking process stops automatically when this

is reached, use the core temperature sensor as follows:

• Open the cap of the connector in the upper left corner of

the cooking chamber, near the door opening (See section

on appliance components in chapter on properties and

construction) and connect the plug of the core temperature

sensor supplied to it.

• Insert the metal tip of the probe into the middle of the food

or into the thickest part of the food, away from bones and

fat if possible.

Leave the probe tip in the food during the entire cooking

process.

• Set the desired heating type and cooking temperature

as described previously and touch the key.

• The current temperature measured at the tip of the core

temperature sensor is now shown at the bottom left of the

display and the setting display for the target core tempera-



Set this with the and keys.

• To start the cooking process, touch the key.

• When the set core temperature of the food is measured at

the tip of the core temperature sensor, the cooking process

stops automatically and a 7-minute alarm signal sounds.

To stop this, touch the key or any key whose function you

now want to use.
