Operating the appliance
Cooling fan
The cooling fan switches on and o as required.
The hot air escapes above the door.
Caution!
Do not cover the ventilation slots.
Otherwise, the appliance may overheat.
To make the appliance cool down more quickly
after the operation, the cooling fan may continue
to run for a period afterwards.

Maximum operating time
The maximum operating time of this appliance is 9 hours,
to prevent that you forget shot off the power.
Notes
To defrost big portions of food, it is possible to remove
the side-racks and place the container on the cavity oor.
To warm tableware, it is benecial to remove the side-
racks and the heating modes grilling / roasting system
and convection
with temperature setting of
50°C are useful. Grilling / roasting system
should
be used, if more than half of the cavity oor is covered
by the tableware.
Due to an optimum evenness of heat distribution inside
the cavity during Convection, the fan will work at cer-
tain times of the heating process, to guaranty the best
possible performance.
When hot air is circulated, the fan may make
slight noises or vibrate, depending on the ser-
vice life and heat generation. This is normal.
Remove all accessories, which are not necessary du-
ring the cooking & baking process.
Do not open the door during the cooking & baking
process.
Use Convection
, whenever possible. You can reduce
the temperature by 20°C to 30°C.
You can cook and bake using Convection on more
than one level at the same time.
Reduce the temperature setting in heating modes wit-
hout fan to 50°C approx. or switch off the oven 10min
before the end of the cooking time.
This allows you to use the residual heat until the end of
the cooking process.
If it is not possible to cook and bake several dishes at
the same time, you can heat one after the other and
and further use the residual heat of the oven.
Energy efcient use
Do not preheat the empty oven, if it is not specied in
the recipe or in the tables.
If necessary put the food into the oven immediately
after reaching the temperature indicated by switching
off of the indicator light for the rst time.
Do not use reective foil (like aluminum foil) to cover
the cavity oor.
Use the alarm function whenever possible and / or the
meat probe to determine the exact cooking point.
If possible, use dark matt nished, coated or enamelled
tins and light weighted baking molds and containers,
because they absorb the oven heat particularly well.
If possible, do not use heavy accessories with shiny
surfaces, like stainless steel or aluminum.
