If possible, only allow the appliance to
cool down aer operating at high tem-
peratures with the door closed and only
open the appliance door for drying if a lot
of moisture has been produced during
operation of the oven.
Do not bracket anything in the appliance
door. Even if the door is only open a crack
during cooling, the adjacent furniture or
appliance fronts may be damaged over
time.
Always keep the seal clean. If the seal is
heavily soiled, the appliance door will no
longer close properly during operation,
which may damage the fronts of neigh-
bouring furniture or appliances.
Over a longer period of time, moisture in
the baking chamber can lead to corrosi-
on.
Allow the appliance to dry aer use.
Do not store moist food in the closed
oven for a long period of time. Do not
store food in the oven cavity.
Always keep your oven clean.
Food residues can damage the oven sur-
faces over time.
Avoid sugary stains, such as fruit juice in
the cooking chamber, as they may not be
removed aer cooling.
When preparing very moist food, such as
fruit cake, do not cover the baking tray
too generously and use a deep baking
tray.
To avoid damaging the appliance door, do
not put any weight on it. For example, do
not place any cooking utensils or accesso-
ries on it and do not hang anything on it.
Scratches in the glass of the appliance
door can develop into a crack or even
break. Do not use glass scrapers, sharp or
abrasive cleaning agents or aids.
To ensure safe handling and avoid dama-
ge, always push the accessories the right
way round (if applicable) and all the way
into the cooking chamber.
Do not carry or hold the appliance by the
door handle.
The door handle cannot support the
weight of the appliance and could break.
