4. Drücken Sie den Drehregler, um den Vorgang zu starten.
Nach Ablauf der 10 Minuten schaltet sich die Mikrowelle automatisch aus und 4
Signaltöne ertönen, im Display wird „End“ angezeigt. Warten Sie einige Minuten,
bis die Mikrowelle abgekühlt ist.
5. Reinigen Sie die Mikrowelle abschließend noch einmal von außen und innen mit
einem weichen und leicht angefeuchteten Tuch. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine
Feuchtigkeit in das Innere der Mikrowelle gelangt.
Zubehör einsetzen
Außer zum ersten Aufheizen, darf die Mikrowelle nicht ohne das Zubehör Rollenring
und Glas-Drehteller genutzt werden. Den Edelstahl-Grillrost

benötigen Sie nur
für die Betriebsarten „Grillen“ und „Grillen und Mikrowellenbetrieb (Kombibetrieb)“.

aufgesteckt werden.
So arbeitet Ihre Mikrowelle
Mikrowellen sind elektromagnetische Wellen, die vom Mikrowellengenerator, dem
sogenannten Magnetron, erzeugt werden. Nach Ablauf der Zeit oder beim Öffnen
der Tür schaltet sich das Magnetron sofort aus.
Die Mikrowellen werden im Garraum der Mikrowelle gleichmäßig verteilt und von
den metallischen Innenwänden und dem Sichtfenster der Mikrowelle reflektiert.
Auf diese Weise gelangen die Mikrowellen von allen Seiten an und in das Lebens-
mittel. Durch den sich drehenden Glasteller wird die Verteilung der Mikrowellen
zusätzlich verbessert.
• Mikrowellen dringen bis zu einer Tiefe von etwa 3 cm in Lebensmittel ein und
erhitzen die Wasser Fett- und Zuckermoleküle.
• Diese Wärme durchdringt das gesamte Lebensmittel und führt zum Auftauen,
Erhitzen und Garen.
• Lebensmittel mit hohem Wasseranteil werden am intensivsten erwärmt.
• Der Garraum und die Luft im Garraum werden nicht erwärmt. Das Behältnis er-
wärmt sich hauptsächlich durch das heiße Lebensmittel.
• Jedes Lebensmittel benötigt zum Garen bzw. Auftauen eine bestimmte Menge
Energie. Hierbei gilt die Faustformel: hohe Leistung = kurze Zeit bzw. geringe
Leistung = lange Zeit.
• Für eine optimale Verteilung der Wärme lassen Sie fertig erhitzte Lebensmittel
1bis 2 Minuten in der Mikrowelle zum Nachgaren stehen.
