Maintenance and Cleaning
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and cool it down completely
before cleaning.
Never immerse the Glass Kettle, power cord or power base in water, or allow moisture to come into
contact with the power cord or power base.
Wipe the body with a damp cloth or mild cleaner, never use a poisonous cleaner. Do not use chemical,
steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle to prevent the gloss loss.
When not in use, the power cord can be stored at the bottom of the appliance.
Your Glass Kettle should be periodically descaled, as the mineral deposits in tap water may form a scale
at the bottom of the Kettle. You can use the commercially available descaler and follow the instructions
on the package of descaler. Alternatively, you may follow the below instructions to use the white vinegar.
1. Fill the kettle with 0,5 L vinegar, then add 1 L water. Leave the solution in the kettle for an hour.
2. Discard the vinegar, ll the kettle with clean water, boil the water and then discard the water. Repeat
this routine several times until the odor of the vinegar has been ushed away. Any stains remaining
inside the spout can be removed by rubbing it with a damp cloth.
Removal of Mineral Deposits
