- Het apparaat vereist een aansluiting op het waternet voor de toevoer van drinkwater en een afvoer

voor het restwater van de cyclus.

- Het apparaat functioneert op cyclische wijze:de vormingscyclus gaat voort tot de tank gevuld is; een

speciale limietthermostaat onder de uitvoeropening van het ijs laat het apparaat automatisch tot

stilstand komen als de tank vol is.

- Als het ijsvolume door verbruik of door ontdooien onder een bepaald niveau zakt wordt het apparaat

door de limietthermostaat in werking gesteld. Het dooiwater loopt naar buiten door de afvoerslang.

Het apparaat is in staat om elke 40 minuten 12 ijsblokjes te produceren.
