Turkey Burgers
Makes: 4 burgers
Ingredients
250g turkey mince
100g red onion, finely chopped
50g fresh breadcrumbs
2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
1tbs chutney
3 tbs chopped fresh parsley
Seasoning
Olive oil
To serve
Seeded buns
Watercress and spinach salad leaves
Salsa
Method
1. Place the turkey mince, red onion, breadcrumbs, garlic, chutney and parsley
into a bowl and mix together. Season generously.
2. Divide the mixture into 4 and shape into burgers.
3. Preheat the Burger Maker for a couple of minutes until the green light comes on.
4. Brush each side of the burger with a little olive oil and place 2 burgers into the
Burger Maker. Close the lid and cook for 3-4 minutes until the burgers are nicely
charred and piping hot. Keep warm.
5. Split the bread rolls and warm in the Burger Maker for about 1 minute.
6. Fill each roll with a turkey burger and top with salsa and salad leaves. Delicious.
7. Repeat with the remaining burgers if required.
Tip
Turkey Burgers can be assembled, wrapped and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days before
use or frozen for up to 3 months, defrost before use.
Italian Burger
Makes: 4 burgers
Ingredients
225g steak mince
50g onion, finely chopped
50g red pepper, finely chopped
25g fresh breadcrumbs
2 tsp oregano
3tbs fresh basil, chopped
1tbs red pesto
1 tbs Parmesan cheese, grated
Seasoning
Olive oil
