withearthed(grounded)powertools.Unmodiedplugsandmatchingoutletswillreduceriskofelectric
shock.
• Avoidbodycontactwithearthedorgroundedsurfaces,suchaspipes,radiators,rangesandrefrigerators.
Thereisanincreasedriskofelectricshockifyourbodyisearthedorgrounded.
• Donotexposepowertoolstorainorwetconditions.Waterenteringapowertoolwillincreasetheriskof
electricshock.
• Donotabusethecord.Neverusethecordforcarrying,pullingorunpluggingthepowertool.Keepcord
awayfromheat,oil,sharpedgesormovingparts.Damagedorentangledcordsincreasetheriskofelectric
shock.
• Whenoperatingapowertooloutdoors,useanextensioncordsuitableforoutdooruse.Useofacordsuit-
ableforoutdoorusereducestheriskofelectricshock.
• Ifoperatingapowertoolinadamplocationisunavoidable,usearesidualcurrentdevice(RCD)protected
supply.UseofanRCDreducestheriskofelectricshock.
NOTE:Thetermresidualcurrentdevice(RCD)maybereplacedbythetermgroundfaultcircuitInterrupter
(GFCI)orearthleakagecircuitbreaker(ELCB).

non-skidsafetyshoes,hardhat,orhearingprotectionusedforappropriateconditionswillreducepersonal
injuries.
• Preventunintentionalstarting.Ensuretheswitchisintheo-positionbeforeconnectingtopowersource
and/orbatterypack,pickinguporcarryingthetool.
Carryingpowertoolswithyourngerontheswitchorenergizingpowertoolsthathavetheswitchon
invitesaccidents.
• Removeanyadjustingkeyorwrenchbeforeturningthepowertoolon.Awrenchorakeyleftattachedto
arotatingpartofthepowertoolmayresultinpersonalinjury.
