ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR

STEAMCLEANERS

■ Steam cleaners must not be used by

children or untrained persons.

■ Do not use the appliance in the presence

of children and/or animals.

■ Do not point the appliance towards

people, animals or electrical appliances.

■ Always check the working surface to see

if it is suitable for the appliance.

■ Always unplug the appliance before filling

it with water.

■ Only use clean water when filling the

appliance.

■ Do not use detergents, acids or flammable

liquids in the appliance.

■ Do not submerge the appliance in water

or other liquids.

■ Do not use the appliance without the filler

cap.

■ Avoid touching hot parts of the appliance.

■ Let the appliance cool down after use.

■ Do not use the appliance to clean clothes.

■ Do not open the filler cap during use.

■ Never point the steam outlet to yourself or

others to clean clothing or footwear.

■ Never point the steam outlet to the

appliance itself.

■ Never point the steam outlet to electrical

wiring or power outlets because of risk of

electric shock.

Always check that the power

supply corresponds to the

voltage on the rating plate.

DESCRIPTION (fig. A)

Your steam cleaner has been designed for

cleaning carpets, rugs, upholstery as well as

tiles and delicate surfaces.

1 On/off switch

2 Filler cap

3 Hose

4 Handgrip hose

5 Steam release knob

6 Tube

7 Universal nozzle

Filling the water tank (fig. B)

■ Push the filler cap (2) and loosen it.

■ Remove the filler cap.

■ Fill the measuring jug (8) to the maximum

fill line with water.

■ Use the funnel (9) to fill the water tank.

■ Replace the filler cap and tighten it.

Mounting the tube to the hose (fig. C)

■ Connect both parts of the tube (10).

■ Slide the tube onto the handgrip (4).

■ Place the required nozzle onto the tail end

of the tube.

■ To remove the hose, press the locking

button and pull the hose off.

Mounting the nozzle (fig. A, C & D)

Use the universal nozzle (7) for cleaning rugs

and carpeting. Use the crevice nozzle (11) for

cleaning small areas and hard-to-reach

places. Use the upholstery nozzle (12) for

cleaning upholstery. Use the squeegee nozzle

(13) for cleaning glass surfaces and mirrors.

■ Slide the nozzle onto the handgrip (4).

■ If required, fit the tube (6) between the

nozzle and the handgrip.

■ To remove the nozzle, press the locking

button and pull the nozzle off.

Fitting the cleaning cloth (fig. E)

Use the cleaning cloth (14) on the universal

nozzle (7) to clean hard floors and tiles as

well as delicate surfaces.

■ Wrap the cleaning cloth around the nozzle.

■ Pull the cord to fasten it.

Fitting an accessory to the crevice nozzle

(fig. F)

Use the brush accessory (15) and the bended

accessory (16) on the crevice nozzle (11).

■ Push the accessory onto the nozzle.
